My new favorite author. I highly recommend going to the Deborah Baldon page and check out the reading order. All of the characters are inter woven into each others lives which make this such a great read. It certainly doesn't matter which order you read any of these novels and series, but you will certainly want to know more about all of the characters and their connected relationships. I started with this and ended up reading a few out of order and then started at the beginning which make this so much better. I love all of the characters and their depth, struggles and lives.Product details

There's not much of a dramatic plot here, which leads to the book being slow. Despite the promise in the summary this book didn't strike me as even slightly naughty. It reminded me more of a heart warming Christmas story. Only there's so little plot in between. His status as a boss is very down graded so much as to almost not be a point at all. Yet it's repeated like it's supposed to be so forbidden. He's her boss but he works for her brother and it's frequently hinted she could take his job one day. The fact she's seen him naked also down graded. She actually doesn't seem to care only to mention no one should look. This is a book that sells itself as something it isn't. To me it seemed the author worked hard to make this very unsexy. Since there's not much else there except a lot of birthday and holiday gift giving, I found myself bored.
Lark works at her brother Crew's cosmetic company, since graduating from college. Crew hired Ryker to improve the sales at Matiz he is a genius at Marketing. Ryker avoids Lark at work because he doesn't want Crew to fire him .Ryker has never forgotten the kiss he shared with Lark last Christmas under the mistletoe. He dumps his plastics supermodel Gem and goes after the only woman he had ever cared about. Lark has wanted Ryker since last Christmas but now that he is her boss she avoids him unless he speaks to her. Ryker goes to Lark's surprise birthday party to tell her how he feels . They start seeing each other and fall in love . Read the book for the Valentine surprise . HEA
I have read well over 300 books within the last 2 years, and must say that Deborah Bladon has become one of my top 3 Authors over the last 2 year's. I simply LOVE her books!! In fact, I love them so much that I have gone back and ordered and read virtually every book she has written now, and I'm sure you will too!! I don't even have to check for reviews, or even see how many stars her books are before I purchase them (I already know they are 4-5 stars). Bladon is the type of Author that once you finish a book, you hope and pray there will be another, because you just don't want their story to end....EVER!!! "MELT" is no exception, and again, I was unable to put it down!! Ryker is "that guy" that all women can't help but fall for.......successful, beautiful, passionate, romantic, and above all else, SEXY!! Lark is strong willed, strong minded, intelligent, and beautiful. I love the pace of this book, all of their ups and downs, adorable bouts of uncertainty, emotion invoking disputes, hot and steamy make up sessions, and of course the ending was perfect!!!! (Did I mention how much I've laughed and cried with her books!!!?? My poor husband must think I've gone off my rocker after asking several times "hey, you ok hun?") As with all her books, when I came to the end, I really wanted to read about the next phase in their lives, and I'm pretty sure you will too! Bladon has a wonderful, passionate, and endless supply of imagination that brings her characters to life and makes you fall in love right along with them!!
This book is just cute. Minimal conflict, a gnat's eye of angst, and a whole lot of sweet. Lark is a love. She's smart, beautiful, talented, kind, and simply a nice person. Ryker is a handsome, talented, caring and giving man. He's been smitten with Lark since day one and she's bowled over by him. They've both been simmering passion for one another since the Christmas cilantro kiss! And now they're together, making it mesh professionally and personally. Family is important for both and they make time for it. A wonderful story that will leave you feeling warm and squishy about the happiness they've made together.
This book is so poorly written I wish I could give it zero stars. What happened to books with a plot?! Don't waste your money. The sexually repressed damsel and the hunky rich boy who loves her the second he meets her....blah. And constant sex scenes! Is the author paid by how many times she uses the word "c*ck" and "p*ssy"!? Ridiculous. Find something better to read.
well, much as it pains me to write this......this book called MELT was certainly not worth the long wait, while Ms Bladon 'polished'' the writing before
publication.
Maybe I'm being too harsh, but her books are doing more than blurring into one long story line. They just seems to be "same old, same old"!!!!.
I've read the teasers for Tense and Worth, and they appears to have promise BUT then again so have ones that have gone before.
I guess it's a wait and see game...... only time will tell, when they are finally released.
As for MELT, and only $1, give it a go, and form your own opinion.
This is a small story but it's got no clif hanger . It's a live story between two people that fought there attraction to each other but couldn't do it and finally they got together and they confessed they feelings . There were couple times were I thought there going to have a big problem but no . Even when the brother found out he was supportive not mad . I like Deborah stories they are well written and grasps your attention right away . Can't wait for the next two books.
